Two crew members and a member of support staff have attended phase one and two of Search and Rescue (SAR) training to enable us to be better prepared to assist in SAR at events.

Crew Members from AEFRS attended the scene of an RTC at 12.10hrs on 03.03.2008, crews carried out first aid until the arrival of the ambulance, made the vehicle safe before assisting the police in making the highway safe following a spill of fuel and oil.

Crews are busy up-dating skills and core competency in preparation for the year ahead, at this time crew members are attending first aid, Oxygen and defib courses as well as refreshing basic fire fighting skills.

 We are pleased to annouce we have begun co-working with Event Fire and Rescue Services & Rapid fire cover who also speciaiize in off-road events, this will increase our resources further and ensure we are ready for your call.
